WHAT DO YOU OFFER?
We specialize in charcuterie, mobile snack and drink bar rentals, and dry-hire bartending services, serving both private and corporate events—from intimate gatherings to celebrations of up to 200 guests. Our offerings include a wide variety of options for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Cocktail Hour, Dinner, and Dessert, all crafted to delight the palate and impress your guests.
WHAT IS BESPOKE CATERING?

WHAT IS YOUR SERVICE AREA?
PNW Artisan Boards proudly serves the greater Portland area and surrounding suburbs, with service available within approximately 1–1.5 hours of Happy Valley, Oregon.
IS THERE A DELIVERY FEE?
Yes. Delivery fees are based on your event location and will be clearly outlined in your custom quote.
If ordering through our website, be sure to select the correct Shipping Method.
NOTICE: For Oregon Customers - All Catering Orders (food) must select Local Delivery Option; delivery fee is based on delivery address.
The Standard Flat (3-4 day) Shipping cost is reserved for smaller items (like honey) shipped via USPS outside of OR & WA.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK PNW ARTISAN BOARDS?
We recommend booking as soon as you know your event date to secure your spot. For events more than 30 days out, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date, with the remaining balance due 30 days before the event. For events 30 days or less from your date, payment in full is required to confirm your reservation.
WHAT IS YOUR QUOTE AND BOOKING PROCESS?
When you choose PNW Artisan Boards, you’re not just hiring a caterer—you’re gaining a partner who supports you throughout the planning process. Our bespoke catering philosophy means we listen to your vision, preferences, and needs to design an experience that’s intentional, personal, and memorable for you and your guests.
Our process is simple, collaborative, and stress-free:
- Catering Survey: After connecting, you’ll complete a short but in-depth survey so we can gather the key details needed to create an accurate, thoughtful quote.
- Consultation Call: We review menu options, logistics, and the overall experience you want to create.
- Optional In-Person Meeting: When timing allows, we love meeting for coffee to explore design details and bring your vision to life.
- Custom Quote Draft: We provide a detailed quote featuring photos, mix-and-match options, and menu suggestions so you can visualize your event and select what best fits your style and needs.
- Menu Selection: You’ll review the options, narrow down, and finalize your menu with guidance from our team.
- Deposit: For events more than 30 days away, a $100 non-refundable deposit reserves your date. For events within 30 days, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Contract & Final Payment: You’ll receive a contract confirming your event details. Full payment is due 30 days prior to your event for bookings made in advance.
Throughout the process, you’ll have unlimited access to us via call, text, or email. From menu planning to presentation details, we ensure every step is handled with care so your celebration is seamless, beautifully executed, and, of course, delicious.
HOW MANY TIMES WILL WE MEET BEFORE OUR BIG EVENT?
As many times as you need! Our process is simple, collaborative, and stress-free. After connecting, you’ll complete a short catering survey to share key details, then we’ll schedule a call to review menu options, logistics, and your overall vision. When timing allows, we love meeting in person for coffee to dive deeper into design details. Beyond scheduled meetings, you’ll have unlimited access to us via call, text, or email throughout the planning process.
DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM FOR LARGE EVENTS?
We do not! No two events are alike, so why should your menu or budget be? At PNW Artisan Boards, we offer bespoke catering experiences, tailored to your vision, guest count, and unique style.
WHAT DO YOU OFFER WITH YOUR MOBILE BAR RENTALS?
Our 5' mini mobile cart is the perfect size to take anywhere—and it’s not just for charcuterie! From brunch to late-night snacks, we can bring a variety of options to fuel your celebration. Some favorites include:
- Brunch: 🥯 Croissants, waffles, coffee & cocoa bars
- Late-night snacks: 🌽 Elote bowls, personal pizzas, mashed potato bar
- Lunch & Dinner: 🥪 Artisan sandwiches, soup & salad bar
- Desserts & Sweets: 🍫 Dessert bar, cannoli bar
- Drinks: 🍸 Cocktail bar, Cocoa, Coffee, Mocktails
You name it, we can bring all the snacks to make your event memorable and delicious!
WHAT IS DRY-HIRE BARTENDING?
Dry-hire bartending means our team provides professional bartending services—including staff, setup, and service—but does not supply the alcohol. All of our bartenders are fully licensed and insured (OLCC permit), so you can enjoy your event safely and professionally. If you’d like bartending services, we’ll include all the details and options in your custom quote.
DO YOU OFFER FULL-SERVICE CATERING?
We provide a full-service buffet or family style catering experiences, meaning our team handles setup, styling, ongoing replenishment, and cleanup so you can stay present and enjoy your day. While we do not offer plated, individually served meals, or passed around hors d'oeuvres, our service is designed to feel seamless, elevated, and intentionally managed from start to finish.
DO YOU OFFER RENTALS?
Yes! We offer tables and linens for your catering needs, though guest tables are not available. We also provide plateware, silverware, drinkware, and napkins—either as disposables or rentals for an additional fee. Rental fees also apply to serving ware, utensils, and decorative items such as risers or baskets. During the quote process, our team will review all available rental options with you to ensure your event is perfectly set.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY NEEDS AND ALLERGY RESTRICTIONS?
Yes. We’re happy to accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, vegetarian, and vegan preferences, as well as most allergy-related needs. Dietary requests are discussed during the quote process so we can thoughtfully plan menus and clearly label items when needed.
DO YOU OFFER TASTINGS?
At this time, we do not offer tastings. However, our detailed quotes include photos, menu descriptions, and guidance to help you feel confident in your selections before booking.
DO YOU HAVE A STOREFRONT?
We do not have a permanent storefront. However, during market season (May–October), you can find us at local farmers markets across Oregon, where we pop up with our Modern Bistro offering fresh, delicious brunch and lunch options. Be sure to check our Market page in April for the full list of markets we’ll be attending this summer.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY?
A $100 deposit is required to reserve your date and is non-refundable. For events more than 30 days away, remaining payments are due 30 days before the event. For events within 30 days, full payment is required at the time of booking. Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance will forfeit the deposit only; cancellations made within 30 days of the event are non-refundable. In the case of unforeseen circumstances, we are happy to work with you to reschedule your event.
DO YOU OFFER DONATIONS?
We love giving back to our community! As a small, boutique catering company, our annual donation budget is limited and requests fill quickly. While we aren’t able to accommodate every request, we carefully consider each opportunity and support causes whenever possible.
